Account Manager - Data Center Colocation
About this role
Accountabilities:
• Manage and grow strategic enterprise accounts within the data center colocation and critical power solutions space.
• Develop new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships across assigned accounts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring strong engagement at multiple organizational levels.
• Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, quotes, and change orders in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as operations, engineering, and legal to ensure smooth contract execution and compliance.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline tracking and activity reporting within CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Monitor account performance, risks, and KPIs while proactively addressing issues and driving resolution.
• Support initiatives to improve operational efficiency and maximize profitability across managed accounts.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience in account management or technical sales, ideally within data center, power electronics, or critical infrastructure industries.
• Strong experience managing large enterprise or strategic customer accounts.
• Knowledge of low voltage power distribution, data center infrastructure, or related technical environments is highly preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in contract negotiation and sales execution.
• Ability to engage confidently with both technical and executive-level stakeholders.
• Excellent relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing or industrial technology-driven business environments is an advantage.
