AI Automation Engineer

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing AI-powered automation systems that streamline workflows across multiple departments. You will create scalable integrations between business tools and develop intelligent systems that reduce manual effort and improve efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing automation workflows using platforms such as Zapier, Make, n8n, and custom API integrations

• Developing AI-driven solutions leveraging LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) for process automation and decision support

• Building integrations between CRMs (such as HubSpot or Salesforce), internal tools, and third-party applications

• Writing backend logic and scripts using Python and/or JavaScript to support advanced automation use cases

• Optimizing workflows for lead generation, customer engagement, and support operations using AI tools

• Monitoring, debugging, and improving automation reliability, scalability, and performance

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new automation opportunities

• Staying updated with emerging AI technologies, automation tools, and best practices

Requirements

You bring a strong technical foundation in software engineering and automation, combined with practical experience in building AI-powered systems. You are comfortable working in fast-paced, remote environments and translating business needs into scalable technical solutions. Key requirements include:

• 2+ years of experience in automation engineering, software development, or AI-related roles

• Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar platforms

• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript for scripting and backend development

• Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and system integrations

• Familiarity with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI API, Claude) and prompt engineering techniques

• Experience integrating and working with CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable, maintainable systems

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in distributed, global teams

• Experience in SaaS, growth systems, or sales automation is a strong advantage
