This role sits inside Distyl's core business functions: revenue operations, platform delivery, and research programs. You own the operating rhythm, enforce accountability, and close the gap between ambition and execution.

Roles are available across multiple teams:
AI Operator: Staffing
Own the talent engine that powers every stage of the client lifecycle — from pre-sales solutioning through post-sales engagement and implementation delivery. You will lead strategic workforce planning across all go-to-market and delivery motions, matching the right people to the right pods at the right time. Beyond staffing, you will drive talent development: identifying skill gaps, building capability frameworks, designing upskilling and reskilling pathways that keep our people growing as fast as our business. When demand shifts across the pipeline, you've already forecasted it, resourced it, and developed the bench to meet it.
AI Operator: Revenue
Own the operational engine behind Distyl's go-to-market. This is a first-principles operator role — bringing rigor and accountability to pipeline management, deal execution, and revenue operations in the same way we deliver for our most demanding enterprise clients. You will work directly with sales and business development leadership at the highest level.
AI Operator: Platform Delivery
Drive the operational rhythm of Distyl's platform and product teams. Ensure that platform capabilities are built and shipped with the same rigor and velocity demanded of client programs — tracking goals, enforcing accountability, and creating the forcing functions that keep engineering teams moving. The AI Operator: Platform Delivery is the operational backbone behind product delivery.
AI Operator: Research Programs
Partner with research and engineering leadership to ensure programs ship with velocity and accountability. This is the operational force behind research execution — ensuring goals are clear, progress is visible, and deadlines carry weight. You will track OKRs, remove blockers, and drive the operating rhythm across some of the most technically ambitious work at the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Enforce Operational Rigor: Ensure goals are clear and commitments are kept. A program doesn't ship until success is defined, ownership is clear, and risk is understood
- Drive Stakeholder Alignment: Navigate executive, technical, and business stakeholders with confidence. Provide clear, honest reporting on program status and surface risks before they become problems
- Operate at Maximum Velocity: Keep programs moving in fast-changing environments. Adapt quickly when priorities shift without losing momentum or dropping balls
- Operate as an AI-Native: You don't just champion AI — you use it. You stay on top of the latest models and tools, reinvent your own workflows continuously, and push your teams to do the same
- Write the Playbook: Author best practices for running high-performance programs at scale. Distyl AI Operators should be the envy of the industry
AI Operator: Revenue
- Own the Revenue Engine: Own pipeline cadence, deal tracking, and the BD process end-to-end.
- Create Visibility: Build the reporting and tracking systems that give leadership clear, honest signal on pipeline health, deal velocity, and revenue risk — in real time
AI Operator: Platform Delivery
- Drive Platform Velocity: Track goals, enforce accountability, and create the forcing functions that keep platform and product teams shipping with the speed and quality our client programs depend on
- Bridge Platform and Implementation: Ensure platform capabilities are built to serve implementation needs — tracking dependencies, removing blockers, and maintaining delivery cadence across both teams
AI Operator: Research Programs
- Accelerate Research Execution: Ensure research and engineering programs ship with velocity -tracking OKRs, maintaining operating rhythm, and closing the gap between research ambition and shipped outcomes
- Drive Clarity at the Frontier: Make goals measurable, ownership clear, and progress visible across some of the most technically ambitious work at the company

- Travel: Expect ~20% travel.
WHAT WE OFFER
- The base salary range for this role is $140K – $200K, depending on experience, location, and level. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for [if sales, add commission], meaningful equity, along with a comprehensive benefits package

Distyl has offices in San Francisco and New York. This role follows a hybrid collaboration model with 3+ days per week (Tuesday–Thursday) in‑office.
