Role Summary
The AI Product Manager Senior Advisor – Enterprise Operating Model (EOM) is responsible for shaping, governing, and advancing how Artificial Intelligence capabilities are identified, prioritized, delivered, and scaled across Cigna. Operating within the Enterprise Strategy & Delivery Office (ESDO), this role serves as the product thought leader for AI within the EOM, ensuring AI initiatives are aligned to enterprise strategy, customer value, capacity, and responsible data practices.
This role partners closely with the AI Center of Excellence (AICoE), Enterprise Data Strategy, and senior business and technology leaders to bring structure, clarity, and discipline to a rapidly growing demand for AI solutions—balancing innovation with governance, feasibility, and trust.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise AI Product Strategy
• Define and evolve how AI initiatives are ideated, evaluated, prioritized, and funded within the Enterprise Operating Model.
• Establish clear AI product value propositions that align business outcomes with enterprise strategy and capacity.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, market trends, and internal opportunities to guide enterprise-level investment decisions.
Demand Triage, Prioritization & Capacity Alignment
• Partner with the AI Center of Excellence (AICoE) to create and maintain a structured approach for triaging and prioritizing AI requests across the enterprise.
• Balance incoming AI demand against available skills, team capacity, delivery readiness, and risk profiles.
• Provide senior leadership with visibility into AI demand, tradeoffs, and prioritization rationale.
Responsible AI, Data Integrity & Governance
• Collaborate with Enterprise Data Strategy leadership to ensure AI solutions are built on trusted, high-quality, and compliant data.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards for data integrity, quality, security, and ethical AI usage.
• Embed governance mechanisms into AI workflows that support transparency, auditability, and long-term sustainability.
EOM Integration & Interoperability
• Ensure AI capabilities are fully integrated into the Enterprise Operating Model, enabling interoperability across teams, tools, and delivery frameworks.
• Partner with Strategy and Delivery Product Managers to align AI strategy with upstream planning and downstream execution.
• Help institutionalize AI-enabled ways of working across the enterprise, without creating fragmentation or duplication.
Thought Leadership & Advisory
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on complex AI, product, and operating model decisions.
• Translate complex AI concepts into clear, actionable guidance for business and technology stakeholders.
• Provide thought leadership on how AI can responsibly accelerate value delivery, efficiency, and decision-making across the enterprise.
Leadership & Collaboration
• Works cross-functionally with executives, business leaders, technologists, data leaders, security partners, legal, and compliance teams.
• May lead or influence large, cross-enterprise initiatives without direct authority.
• Recognized internally as a go-to expert for AI product strategy and enterprise AI operating model integration.
Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills
• Strong product leadership with demonstrated experience in AI, data, platform, or complex enterprise products
• Proven ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in large, matrixed organizations
• Strong change leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to evaluate complex tradeoffs across value, risk, capacity, and feasibility
• Experience aligning product strategy to enterprise governance and operating models
Preferred Experience
• Experience working with AI/ML platforms, GenAI capabilities, or advanced analytics products
• Familiarity with enterprise data governance, data quality, and compliance practices
• Experience operating within or alongside Centers of Excellence (AI, Agile, Data, etc.)
• Background in product management, organizational transformation, or enterprise delivery models
Education & Certifications
• High School Diploma / GED required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Certifications in Product Management, AI/ML, Data, Agile, or Change Management are a plus

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 113,200 - 188,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
