THE ROLE

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an AI Transformation Intern to join one of our New York Engineering Squads for the summer (June - September). This role exists to bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and our daily operations, ensuring our teams spend less time on manual administration and more time championing great cinema. Reporting to our Head of Infrastructure, you will be a catalyst for internal efficiency during a pivotal season of growth.

You will play a key role in building confidence using automation practices across MUBI, working directly with departments like Content and Marketing to identify friction points in their workflows. By automating repetitive tasks, you won't just be saving hours; you'll be empowering our global team to focus on the creative work that defines our brand. This is an opportunity to see the inner workings of a global business while leaving a lasting technical impact.

WHERE YOU’LL HAVE IMPACT:

- Partner with various teams across the organization to map out their daily administrative tasks and identify high-impact opportunities for improvement.

- Design and deploy smart solutions using tools like Gemini, Claude, and OpenAI to handle repetitive internal tasks.

- Build and refine solutions that measurably reduce the time spent on manual data entry or scheduling.

- Maintain organized documentation of new processes to ensure they remain functional and scalable after your internship concludes.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

- A natural drive to find efficiencies in complex workflows and a passion for making systems run better.

- A strong technical background and the ability to confidently navigate and deploy a range of modern AI-powered tools.

- The ability to take a messy administrative process and successfully rebuild it into a streamlined, efficient process.

- A background in Computer Science or a related field that allows you to understand the logic behind digital workflows.

- A genuine enjoyment of working with others and the ability to translate technical solutions into easy-to-use tools for non-technical colleagues.
