POSITION SUMMARY:
The successful candidate will work as a part of system operations team to perform daily database, data interface/ETL and data warehouse support of the company’s global IT operations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide Enterprise IT 24x7 database, data interface/ETL and data warehouse operations support
• Perform daily monitoring, analysis, patch management and administration on databases, data interface/ETL and data warehouse.
• Work with different IT teammates to ensure optimal performance and minimal database issues.
• Automate database and data warehouse housekeeping and monitoring, including capacity management/planning, backup and job scheduling.
• Set up and deploy databases in Development, UAT, and Production environment.
• Assist application support specialist and developers for troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Prepare and update relevant documentation for installation, configuration and administration of the databases, data interface/ETL and data warehouse.
• Maintain High-Availability and Disaster Recovery on database, data interface/ETL and data warehouse platform.
• Enforce database standards, guidelines and operational policies and procedures in accordance to SOX/ISO20000/ISO27001/ITIL standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
• 3+ years hands-on experience in enterprise database environment e.g. MS SQL, MongoDB, and MySQL database administration and/or development.
• Possess good working knowledge of Window, Linux, Unix, SQL.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience on enterprise cloud environment and virtualization technology will be an advantage, e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, VMWare etc.
• Experience on supporting enterprise data integration platform and business intelligence analytics tool will be a definite advantage, e.g. YellowBrick, Tableau, Power BI and etc.
• Gaming industry exposure will be an advantage.
Education
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant qualifications
• Microsoft DBA certifications, or equivalent will be an advantage

• Good problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Able to work under pressure and tight schedule, independently and proactively
• Able to communicate with English
