Our challenge

We are looking for someone who can Support the FRTB program by developing risk analytics solutions, implementing models, and managing data pipelines to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and risk management objectives.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Jersey City, NJ is $105k - $115k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance FRTB risk analytics, model implementation, and regulatory reporting.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for risk data processing.
• Collaborate with risk and analytics teams to gather requirements.
• Optimize data workflows for accuracy and efficiency. 
• Ensure model compliance and conduct validation activities. 
• Keep current with evolving FRTB regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years hands on experience working in Capital Markets software development
• 5+ years of professional experience using C++
• Proficiency in multithread programming 
• Proficiency in Oracle and Python
• Experience with JSON and XML
• Experience with DevOps pipeline
• Experience supporting production environment
• Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and team working skills.
• Exposure to risk analytics, especially FRTB.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of Capital Markets risk management.
• Analytical problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Educational background in finance, data science, or related fields.
