Purpose: We are seeking an accomplished and strategic leader to assume the role of Associate Director, Data Management (NS). This individual will act as the primary data quarterback for the Neuroscience TA and will implement the data strategy and data operations for portfolio and future launches.
The Associate Director will be the primary point of contact for leading and coordinating activities related to the consumption and transformation of data to support ongoing downstream applications such as incentive compensation, field reporting, analytics, and forecasting. This individual governs all business process rules and provides regular communications regarding status of data quality and impact of market events. They will collaborate with data vendors and agencies on data acquisition and contracting and ensuring value for data-related investments. Functioning as a subject matter authority, they will support ad hoc, data-centric business questions, and will partner with IT and other business partners to proactively resolve data issues and support large, complex data initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the ongoing quality and application of JJIM data pipeline supporting the sales and marketing organization, ensuring high-quality data and appropriate use.
• Act as “go to” key contact within the StAT organization for data related needs, queries, and issues and advise business teams on the best data sources to leverage for a given business question or insight.
• Lead the data governance program for the NS portfolio; actively supervise data quality and resolve data-related issues and disruptions.
• Lead data on-boarding /change management/ issue resolution/ data integration projects for existing products and new launches – build project plans, perform validation and organizational change activities.
• Lead data-centric projects to resolution, through resource management, execution, and communication (e.g., data onboarding, data events/disruptions).
• Collaborate with internal business partners on data validation and data coordination activities for both field-based (incentive compensation) internal reports/systems (sales forecasting).
• Engage business process owners to align on the action plan on the mitigation of data events/changes on various commercial operations processes (e.g., Incentive Compensation, Sales Forecasting etc.)
• Responsible for leading annual data purchase budgets for assigned portfolio, build POs and collaborate with finance, procurement and business owners on supervising spending.
• Maintain inventory of purchased data and promote organizational awareness of application of data in relevant use cases.
• Participate in the evaluation of new data sources that may provide new insights, competitive advantage and help advise future data strategy.
• Ensure that data vendors align with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by ensuring data quality, timely delivery, errors reported, time to resolution to data inquiries, account services etc.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Education:
• Undergraduate Degree or equivalent in Business, Technology, Analytics or Health Sciences is required. A master’s degree or equivalent experience is an asset.
Experience and Skills
Required:
• Validated experience of 5-7 years in roles related to data management, analytics, insights or other commercial excellence areas within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Advanced knowledge of data sources/products and expertise in using pharma industry syndicated/secondary data from leading vendors- IQVIA, Komodo, Symphony, SPP, patient claims, RWE/HEOR, IDN/ACO Affiliations
• Previous experience in establishing and leading data partnerships with external vendors.
• Knowledge of data querying/business intelligence tools and systems that allow for effective management of large data sets is required.
• Understanding of data governance standard methodologies, and strong understanding of data lifecycle, data quality, metadata, and data management.
• Critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities based on meticulous data analysis and interpretation.
Preferred:
• Strong grasp of data analytics, AI, and machine learning concepts and their application to business operations.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and industry-specific compliance considerations.
• Neuroscience therapeutic experience is preferred
Other:
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate optimally across cross-functional teams and work well with senior leadership.
• This position is a hybrid role based in Titusville, NJ and requires the selected candidate to be on-site 3 days per week.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$122,000.00 - $212,750.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
