Associate Research Analyst

The Associate Research Analyst is an early-career role focused on producing research, consulting deliverables, datasets, data models, and visualizations that address client challenges related to the future of work. Analysts work across a variety of projects and clients, leveraging workforce data to uncover trends, solve problems, and support decision-making.

Analysts work across a variety of projects and clients, leveraging workforce data to uncover trends, solve problems, and support decision-making.
Major Responsibilities:

Perform quantitative analysis using Lightcast workforce data and other sources to support client projects
•
Research, model, and recommend workforce solutions for global employers
•
Develop knowledge of workforce analytics, HR trends, and emerging technologies impacting the future of work
•
Create custom datasets, reports, and visualizations to address client challenges
•
Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to clients and support data-driven decision-making
•
Build and document analytical models in a clear and accessible manner
•
Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, supportive team culture
Education and Experience:
•
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
•
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools
•
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (and/or Google Suite)
•
Strong written and verbal communication skills
•
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
•
Ability to explain complex analytical or economic concepts in simple terms
