About this role
The Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) is seeking applicants for a Research Associate/Full Professor position. As a leader in innovative behavioral and psychological science, the Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology includes 27 research faculty who are on the cutting edge of research spanning basic to dissemination science, with current grant funding ranked third highest within CCHMC. Our Division sits within the newly-launched Mental and Behavioral Health Institute committed to researching and treating mental, behavioral, and developmental health disorders in children and adolescents. To complement and expand our research, we seek applicants whose research focuses on internalizing disorders, including anxiety, depression, and/or suicide.
Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining an independent, externally funded program of research in health disparities/equity in pediatric health. The
position comes with a faculty appointment in the research track at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
The ideal candidate will have an established record of leading an extramurally funded research program in internalizing disorders. Ideal candidates will have completed a doctorate in clinical or school psychology (APA accredited) and be licensed or license-eligible in Ohio.
