Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Business Intelligence Developer (BID) will design and develop business intelligence (BI) solutions to support quality,
compliance and operational processes. The BID professional is responsible for independently developing and aggregating
analytical content sourced from an enterprise electronic medical record reporting database. The candidate will have strong
technical skills and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Independently Designs and Delivers BI Solutions.
• Translates Operational and Clinical Requirements Into Technical Specifications.
• Performs root-cause analysis, validates data, and resolves issues for defined reporting areas.
• Uses advanced SQL, visualization best practices, and knowledge of EHR data (e.g. Caboodle/Clarity) to build reliable
datasets.
• Supports junior team members by sharing knowledge, patterns, or best practices.

from prior experiences, with analysis of the issue.
• COMMUNICATION & INFLUENCE: Communicates with contacts typically within job area on matters that involve
obtaining or providing information requiring some explanation or interpretation in order to reach agreement. May work to
influence parties within own job area at an operational level.
