Business Intelligence Developer
About this role
Accountabilities:
• Design, develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that support business decision-making across multiple teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into scalable technical BI solutions.
• Build and optimize data models, ensuring efficient data transformations, query performance, and reliable reporting structures.
• Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources, including SQL databases, Excel files, and cloud-based platforms.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and governance of data across dashboards, reports, and analytical outputs.
• Monitor and improve performance, usability, and reliability of BI solutions based on user feedback and business needs.
• Provide documentation, training, and support to end users to enhance adoption and effective use of BI tools.
• Contribute to broader data initiatives by promoting best practices in visualization, reporting standards, and data governance.
Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, or data visualization roles using Power BI or similar tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques.
• Solid proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data pipeline structures.
• Ability to analyze large, complex datasets and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
