Morgan Stanley Wealth Management provides a range of wealth management products and services for affluent individuals, businesses, and institutions. These services include brokerage and investment advisory, financial and wealth planning, credit and lending, cash management, annuities and insurance, retirement, and trust.
Responsibilities
The Client Analytics & Reporting team within the COO team of the Direct & Institutional Businesses supports a broad array of responsibilities. You will be responsible for querying data from various applications, organizing and analyzing it to identify trends, and developing data visualizations and reports for business leaders. You will also be responsible for identifying inconsistencies in the data and thinking strategically about ways to improve data quality and reporting to support the business.
Analysis and modeling: Connect client data to business, industry, and economic performance data to generate relevant, actionable insights and provide strategic and tactical recommendations. Perform modeling to predict business outcomes.
Transformation/Growth Mindset: Locate and define new process improvement or automation opportunities.
Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with colleagues in Analytics & Data, Finance, Sales, Product and Strategy to provide insights that drive business results.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong excel and PowerPoint skills
• Experience using data visualization reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Dataiku, PowerBI)
• Experience building and running reports in Salesforce
• Ability to work independently and possess a strong sense of accountability and ownership
• Self-starter and quick learner, able to prioritize to manage delivery and execution of a wide range of tasks and initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail, aptitude for working with numerical information
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
