SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES
It is the responsibility of the Business Intelligence Manager to take ownership of all tasks and challenges they encounter in the operation of their assigned position. The role is a critical support function of new Commercial and Corporate Specialty business supporting the Commercial and Middle Market Lines of Business requiring frequent interaction with Executive and Senior level management. It is both tactical and strategic in nature with significant collaboration within the LOB team as well as other departments of the bank including Marketing and Communication (“MarCom”), Information Technology, Credit Administration, Finance, Consumer Banking, and the Correspondent Division.

• Responsible for the design and delivery of business intelligence for the Commercial Bank, focusing on the delivery of actionable intelligence that facilitates improved performance
• Oversight and responsibility for BankerBoards, a performance intelligence platform that provides performance intelligence for RMs, their teams, and leaders across the Commercial Bank
• Provide insight and modeling to support proposed modifications to the Commercial Incentive plan
• Provide tactical and strategic performance and KPI reporting to Commercial Leadership and Executive Management.
• Conduct peer research to provide insight into recommended incentive changes.
• Act as liaison with HR to manage the incentive plans to include budget and risk concerns.
• Provide high level strategic analysis and reporting for the Commercial Bank
• Develop Industry analysis and communication content for distribution to appropriate Commercial Bank team members.
• Partner with Technology and other groups in the bank to optimize data architecture to support Commercial Business Intelligence
• Support the Development and Administration of the Commercial Incentive Plans
• Direct the use and enablement of the Banks prospecting platforms as well as business intelligence platforms related to increased sales.
• Provide proper oversight and direction of your team.

COMPETENCIES
• Comfortable engineering end-to-end data pipelines utilizing cloud platforms, such as Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI Online, Power Automate, SharePoint, and other platforms
• Knowledge of database structures including table organization, ability to identify key fields and data
• Ability to facilitate team meetings or present information to an audience
• Proficient in MS Office, in particular Outlook and PowerPoint, Tableau, Excel
• Strong analytic skills including ability to analyze data to drive differentiated performance
• Manage, structure, and consolidate large amounts of data (building in validation to ensure accuracy)
• Ability to collect, organize and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy along with ability to multitask while managing multiple files
• Ability to present the data and communicate effectively (verbal and written), including ability to present to executive level leadership
• Basic experience with Adobe Photoshop
• Confident social skills and able to interact and partner with all levels of management and vendor partners

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Finance, Business or other related field or equivalent work experience (Graduate Degree encouraged)
• Experience: 15 + Years of Banking/Technology experience
• Knowledge: Very strong interpersonal skills, proficient computer skills, ability to multitask and prioritize projects, and advanced knowledge of the full stack of business intelligence toolsets and practices, including data backends, connection platforms, transformation toolsets/practices, and frontend UI/UX design. A strong grasp of the product development lifecycle relating to the development of frontend customized BI interfaces.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES
• On the job training and any additional training as needed. Required annual compliance training.
