Your Role: Manufacturing & Quality Learning & Development Consultant
The Consultant, M&Q Learning & Development (Establishment 196) is a specialized role dedicated to driving L&D transformation and operational readiness for Elanco’s Establishment 196 manufacturing footprint, serving as the primary L&D architect for the sites. This role ensures the global M&Q learning strategy is localized with regulatory rigor, leading the modernization of site-level training to foster a "Right First Time" culture focused on aseptic excellence, compliance, and digital innovation.
Your Responsibilities:
• Strategic L&D Execution & Governance: Execute the site-specific learning roadmap for Establishment 196, establishing robust governance with site leadership to prioritize initiatives aligned with the Global M&Q L&D strategy.
• Advanced Technical Training Design: Partner with SMEs to design and implement advanced technical training programs for aseptic processing, sterile manufacturing, and "Error-Proof" methodologies, including leading Train-the-Trainer programs.
• Digital Learning & Technology Adoption: Drive the adoption of emerging technologies (AI, VR/AR) and create high-fidelity digital training assets (videos, job aids, interactive modules) to enhance personnel onboarding and competency.
• Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Optimize LMS/Veeva for real-time compliance tracking, establish site-specific KPIs to measure L&D ROI, and apply RCA and Lean Six Sigma principles to identify training gaps and optimize onboarding.
• Collaboration & Culture Champion: Build strong, collaborative partnerships with site leadership and the Global M&Q L&D team, championing a culture of continuous learning and performance enablement across the site.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Instructional Design, Business, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment
• Experience leading global or multi-site learning programs in a matrixed life sciences organization.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
• Instructional Design & Digital Learning: Expertise in Instructional Design tools (Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe Connect) and proficiency in AI-enabled learning platforms and advanced data analytics.
• Quality Systems & Compliance: Proficiency in Quality Systems (Veeva, SAP) and direct experience supporting Establishment 196 or similar high-compliance regulatory footprints (USDA/APHIS).
• Manufacturing & Technical Training Expertise: Proven track record in developing effective technical training for aseptic operations and sterile manufacturing, coupled with direct manufacturing experience in Vaccines, Biologics, or Sterile Injectables.
• Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or equivalent continuous improvement experience) and training in root cause analysis methodologies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders to drive outcomes.

• Travel up to 50% (Domestic and International as required for site support)
