Over de functie

Xylem BeNeLux is op zoek naar een Data & Analytics Officer die data effectief inzet voor de business.
In deze rol ben jij dé inhoudelijk expert op het gebied van data, Power BI, ERP en AI en vertaal je complexe datasets naar heldere, actiegerichte inzichten voor management en teams.

Het doel van deze functie is om data te laten fungeren als een sturingsinstrument voor besluitvorming, in plaats van enkel rapportage.

Je werkt nauw samen met CI, digitalisering en het management en speelt een sleutelrol in het verder professionaliseren van datagedreven werken binnen Xylem.

Wat ga je doen?

• Ontsluiten en analyseren van data uit ERP‑, Asset Management‑, financiële en commerciële systemen

• Ontwikkelen en beheren van Power BI dashboards en rapportages

• Vertalen van data naar business impact, prestatie‑inzichten, risico’s en verbeteracties

• Uitvoeren van market intelligence‑ en performanceanalyses

• Fungeren als trusted advisor en sparringpartner voor het management

• Initiëren en ondersteunen van AI‑toepassingen in samenwerking met CI en IT

• Bijdragen aan verbetering van datakwaliteit, datastructuur en governance

Wat breng jij mee?

• HBO+/WO werk‑ en denkniveau

• Ruime ervaring met Power BI, Excel, ERP‑systemen, datamodellen en CRM

• Ervaring met data‑analyse, business intelligence en toegepaste AI / advanced analytics

• Sterk analytisch vermogen en het vermogen om complexe data helder uit te leggen

• Zelfstandig, gestructureerd en proactief

• Uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands op (bijna) moedertaalniveau, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk

• Goede beheersing van het Engels is een pré in een internationale omgeving

About the Role

Xylem BeNeLux is looking for a Data & Analytics Officer who effectively leverages data for the business.
In this role, you are the subject‑matter expert in data, Power BI, ERP, and AI, translating complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for management and teams.

The objective of this role is to ensure data becomes a true decision‑making and steering tool, rather than just reporting.

You work closely with CI, digitalization, and management, playing a key role in strengthening data‑driven decision‑making across Xylem.

What Will You Do?

• Unlock and analyze data from ERP, Asset Management, financial, and commercial systems

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports

• Translate data into business impact, performance insights, risks, and improvement actions

• Conduct market intelligence and performance analyses

• Act as a trusted advisor to management

• Initiate and support AI applications in collaboration with CI and IT

• Contribute to data quality, structure, and governance improvements

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s level education

• Strong experience with Power BI, Excel, ERP systems, data models, and CRM systems

• Experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and applied AI / advanced analytics

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly explain complex data

• Independent, structured, and proactive

• Fluent to native‑level proficiency in Dutch, both written and spoken, is required

• Proficiency in English is an asset in an international environment
