We are seeking an acoustics data analyst. The analyst will be supervised by Dr. Jennifer Miksis-Olds (Center for Acoustics Research and Education within the Institute for the Study of Earth, Oceans, and Space) at the University of New Hampshire.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Support the processing of passive acoustic recordings and echosounder data from the Gulf of Maine.
• Engage with collaborators and students to support ongoing lab programs and projects.
• Characterize broad metrics of marine soundscapes
• Participate in manual analysis of marine mammal and fish sounds from passive recordings
• Be involved with the processing of acoustic backscatter from echograms of fish and zooplankton.

Compensation Pay Range:
$20.00 per hour
Maximum of 20 hours per week
