The Data Analytics expert will help the key decision-makers in Operations to come up with data-driven insights and recommendations through their vast expertise in applying appropriate analytical methods from descriptive to prescriptive analytics.

Job Accountabilities

1. Provides data-driven insights and perspectives from product & solutions development to operations processes

2. Performs business risk analysis through customer and business data mining and analytics

3. Performs descriptive to predictive types of analysis using operations processes' data

4. Provides product and solutions development insight through human-centered design approach

5. Performs data analysis using digital competencies tools such as PowerBI while ensuring alignment with data governance model

6. Compliance
▪ Ensures that all company policies, procedures, programs and instruction are carried out

▪ Familiarizes and understands Pru Life UK Compliance Standards. Full awareness of his/her responsibilities and competent to carry them out to the required standards. ▪ Reports all compliance matters openly and honestly to their Compliance Officer in accordance with the reporting requirements operated by the Compliance Officer. Operates a process within his/her department to ensure that all relevant compliance matters are identified and reported. 7. Performs other functions as may be assigned.

Job Specification

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or other related courses.

• Proficient in using relevant Microsoft applications especially MS Excel, Powerpoint, and PowerBI

• Knowledgeable in descriptive and predictive methods such as summary statistics, hypothesis testing, linear regression, basic machine learning concepts

• Has knowledge in programming languages such as Python, R, PowerBI DAX

• Basic design thinking and collaborative methods (e.g. feedback gathering, facilitation and presentation skills, customer-centric approach,)

• Creation of effective visualizations through static reports or dashboards that will be presented to stakeholders and key decision makers

• Coming up with data-driven reports using appropriate statistical methods to support decision-making.

• Being a good communicator and can knowledge transfer their expertise
