Data and strategy Storyteller

The Data & Strategy Storyteller is responsible for producing compelling data visualizations, dashboards, presentations, and/or graphics that translate complex analytical results into intuitive visual representations helping to drive Equifax Workforce Solutions (EWS) Operations' strategic priorities and key projects. This role will act as a crucial bridge between technical data and actionable business insights.

The Data and Strategy Storyteller will collaborate with leadership, data scientists and analysts on a wide variety of initiatives. These initiatives will require skillful transformation of analytical results and often complex concepts into easy to understand visual narratives that clearly articulate strategy, drive new customer solutions, or communicate value propositions to stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

• Works closely with data analysts, engineers, operations teams, data scientists, and others to create integrated roadmaps, prioritize development, define metrics and key results and deliver data products.

• Translate complex data into digestible, high-impact presentations for executive leadership

• Create interactive data stories based on data from tools such as Tableau and Spotfire by visualizing key insights to tell your story and convey the most meaningful information.

• Apply analytic reasoning to draw out insights in alignment with business priorities, explain the logic and reasoning to stakeholders, and deliver recommendations in alignment with strategy.

What experience you need:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with big data and data visualization tools

• Experience developing/improving and implementing business strategy, operating models, and business capabilities

• Experience with SQL and BI Tools (Looker, BigQuery, Tableau, etc.), data management and/or cloud data management.

What could set you apart:

• Familiarity with Agile and other project management methods.

• Understanding of statistical methods and predictive analytics preferred

• Ability to leverage BI tools such as Tableau and Spotfire (or other mainstream data visualization tools) to build your story

• Experience with R, Python, or other scripting languages
