About this role

Accountabilities:

• Analyze and interpret complex medical and patient safety data using tools such as R and Power BI

• Design, develop, and maintain data models, pipelines, and automated workflows to support analytics and reporting needs

• Build dashboards and visualization tools using platforms such as Excel, Power BI, and other BI tools

• Apply statistical and analytical methods to improve insight generation and program performance evaluation

• Support data quality initiatives across the full data lifecycle, including reporting, extraction, cleaning, and validation

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business and program needs into analytical solutions

• Prepare written reports, summaries, and presentations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences

• Manage and structure large, unorganized patient-level datasets for analysis and insight generation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Health Informatics, or related field

• At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a quantitative/technical discipline

• Strong proficiency in data management tools such as R, SQL, Power Query, or Power BI

• Experience in data wrangling, modeling, and transforming large and complex datasets

• Ability to build data models and visualizations using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar platforms)

• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and familiarity with machine learning or AI concepts

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

• Strong attention to detail, coding discipline, and documentation practices

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment

• Experience with healthcare, public health, or government data environments is highly desirable
