About TensorWave

Our mission is simple: deliver seamless, secure, reliable, and resilient AI compute at scale. We've built a versatile cloud platform that eliminates infrastructure barriers, empowering builders to focus on innovation instead of fighting their stack. Because breakthrough AI should move at the speed of ideas, not infrastructure.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Data Center Project Engineer to provide technical and administrative support to the on-site Senior Project Manager and construction team. In this role, you will be the documentation and quality backbone of the build keeping RFIs moving, submittals on track, field quality verified against design intent, and closeout organized for a clean handover to Operations. TensorWave’s facilities house GPU racks running 40–100kW+ each, built to the highest standards of reliability and precision. The work you do on-site directly enables the AI infrastructure our customers depend on.

What You’ll Do

- Provide technical and administrative support to the on-site Sr. Project Manager and construction team.

- Manage the RFI (Request for Information) log and process, tracking timely responses and distributing updated information to all relevant parties.

- Coordinate the submittal and shop drawing review process between the construction team, engineers, and architects, ensuring design specifications are met.

- Conduct detailed quality control (QC) inspections and document progress against the plans and specifications.

- Assist with project closeout activities, including organizing final documentation, O&M manuals, and turnover packages for the Operations team.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

- Familiarity with RFI and submittal management processes and standard industry workflows.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable producing professional documentation under time pressure.

- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams without letting details fall through the cracks.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience on data center, mission-critical facility, or industrial construction projects (e.g., manufacturing, semiconductor, pharmaceutical).

- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam Revu, or similar construction management and document control platforms.

- Familiarity with data center industry standards: Uptime Institute Tier Classification, TIA-942, ASHRAE thermal guidelines.

- Knowledge of critical facility systems: UPS, PDU, generator plants, switchgear, CRAC/CRAH cooling, BMS/DCIM, structured cabling.

- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

- Experience working in a GC (General Contractor) or owner’s representative capacity.

- Commissioning (Cx) experience or familiarity with Cx processes for mechanical and electrical systems.
