Position Summary
• Coordinates data entry support activities to assist in ensuring organizational reporting objectives are met.
• Conducts data entry and data verification tasks to facilitate administrative operations and information management/retrieval processes.
• Follows established procedures while working under general supervision to complete routine support tasks for the Data Entry function.
• Develops effective relationships with all team members to promote a collaborative work culture, ensure the timely resolution of issues, and prevent delays in service.
• Enters alpha and numeric data using key-to-disk standalone equipment, PCs, and other data entry terminals.
• Prepares data entry work to be processed by gathering, sorting, organizing, and releasing documents.
• Maintains and demonstrates a functional knowledge of data entry devices, applications, job formats, and system commands.
• Adheres to strict privacy guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and data protection laws to ensure that sensitive information is appropriately maintained and protected.
• Maintains electronic data files to ensure that all member information is up-to-date and easily accessible to authorized healthcare professionals.
• Ensures data accuracy by cross-referencing data with physical documents and/or communicating with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies or missing information.
• Assists with general administrative tasks such as filing documents, organizing records, and responding to inquiries related to assigned collections of data.
Required Qualifications
• Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• 2 years experience working with Microsoft Excel and its core functions.
Preferred Qualifications
• 1 year prior relevant work experience.
Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$17.00 - $25.65
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
