Job Description
About the role
The Associate Data Governance and Quality Analyst will support the implementation and maintenance of data governance policies and procedures within our global business. This role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability to support operational efficiency and informed decision-making.
Key Job Accountabilities
• Assist in the development and enforcement of data quality standards and procedures.
• Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues.
• Support data cleansing activities and data validation processes.
• Collaborate with data stewards and business users to resolve data discrepancies.
• Document data definitions, data lineage, and data quality rules.
• Assist in monitoring data quality metrics and reporting on data quality improvements.
• Participate in data governance training and awareness programs.
• Support compliance with data privacy regulations and internal data security policies.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• 2-4 years in a related role.
• Basic understanding of data governance principles, Master Data Management and data quality concepts.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with SQL or other query languages is a plus.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and data is an advantage.
