The Corporate Services and Facilities (CSF) department of the IMF is seeking to recruit a Data Management Analyst/Sr. Data Management Analyst (Business Continuity).

We are looking for qualified candidates with knowledge and experience of the full suite of Fusion Risk Management Tools and/or Salesforce lightning, analytics or related capabilities.

Under the general supervision of Section Chief of the Business Continuity and Crisis Management Section, this role will span the work of the section and involve working with other departments and external parties to manage the information management needs of the operational resilience projects.

The selected candidate will serve as the primary point of contact with the vendor (Fusion Risk Management) and oversee the maintenance and development of the Fusion system at the Fund. The future incumbent will serve as a passionate change agent, perform business needs analysis, and make recommendations to enable agile development of strong systems. The ideal candidate would have experience creating data visualizations in Microsoft Power BI and would have interpersonal skills that would enable them to function well in a large organization.

This is an in-person role, and the selected candidate would be expected to attend the office in-person for a minimum of three days per week.

Major duties and responsibilities include:

• Relationship Management - Act as a liaison between staff and various stakeholders. Build and maintain relationships with clients and system development partners to ensure business requirements are translated and implemented into fit for purpose IT solutions that delivers value.

• Work Management – With oversight from the Section Chief, create and manage project plans and budgets, geared towards the successful roll-out of configuration or process changes.
• Design and manage the implementation and maintenance of the Operational Resilience Tool (ORT) and content repositories that support the Fund’s operational resilience objectives.
• Perform data processing and validation of system performance, assess data quality, conduct Quality Control analysis, and make improvements to existing IT architecture to ensure end users’ needs are met and systems are integrated and agile.
• Perform in-house technical support to modify the system based on business needs
• Create user guides, quick reference charts, and update websites (SharePoint) to reflect end user requirements. Design, and update dashboards, metrics and performance measures.

• Problem Solving – Identify solutions to issues that arise from system and or technology process implementations and provide options for consideration that are aligned with IT policies and standards.

• Communications – Communicate effectively with clients and system development partners to help ensure a successful implementation of changes and user acceptance.

• Learning/Training – Support the coordination and preparation of learning materials, organizes classes, provides hands on training, surveys, and obtains feedback, creates metrics and improvement paths. Support the logistics of resilience exercises and the Crisis Management team, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Educational development, typically acquired through the completion of a university degree, or equivalent, in programming/systems, computer science, statistics, information technology, mathematics, or a related field of study is required.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Excellent data management and analysis skills.
• A track record of managing projects within a solutions environment.
• The ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, work under pressure both autonomously and in a team environment.
• Sound knowledge of the software development life cycle.
• Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• SharePoint, Power BI experience, Visio or any other project mapping tool preferred.
• Experience using Salesforce or Fusion Risk Management.

Preferred experience:

• Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, and/or Risk Management.

Other skills and experience include:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, along with strong facilitation and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, solve problems, identify solutions, and appropriately escalate issues
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

This is a two-year contractual appointment. Contractual appointments at the IMF are renewable for up to four years of cumulative contractual service, pending incumbent's performance, budget availability, and continuous business need.

Only candidates who are currently residing in the Washington DC metro area will be considered.
