Director, Business Intelligence
About this role
Accountabilities:
• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive digital analytics strategy, partnering with product, design, and engineering teams to measure experience effectiveness and business outcomes
• Define KPIs, success metrics, and measurement frameworks to evaluate digital performance across customer journeys and business segments
• Manage and prioritize the analytics backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, feasibility, and business impact
• Establish intake, governance, and prioritization processes for analytics requests, ensuring transparency and consistency in delivery
• Translate complex data and insights into clear, executive-level reporting, dashboards, forecasts, and presentations
• Lead and develop a high-performing business intelligence team, fostering technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning
• Partner across functions to align stakeholders around insights and ensure analytics drives actionable business decisions
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in business intelligence or analytics, including 7+ years focused on digital/web analytics and customer engagement
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing analytics or BI teams
• Strong experience defining and implementing measurement strategies across digital funnels, customer journeys, and product performance
• Deep knowledge of retail and/or healthcare analytics, including provider and clinical outcome measurement
• Experience with digital experimentation, A/B testing, tagging strategies, and marketing-to-sales attribution
• Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools such as Adobe Customer Journey Analytics and Power BI
• Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence executive and cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile environments alongside product, engineering, and design teams
