Director of AI Creative Systems
About this role
Accountabilities:
• Design and build end-to-end AI-native creative production systems, including workflows for image, video, copy, versioning, QA, approvals, and deployment.
• Develop structured pipelines from creative brief to prompt engineering, asset generation, testing, and launch.
• Establish standards for prompts, asset organization, metadata, quality control, and creative governance.
• Produce and direct high-fidelity AI-generated creative assets that meet premium commercial brand standards.
• Define when and how to use AI-only, hybrid, or traditional production methods based on quality, efficiency, and risk considerations.
• Build scalable frameworks, templates, and automations enabling teams to independently generate and iterate creative assets.
• Develop systems for rapid creative testing across paid media, email, and digital channels.
• Partner with growth and performance teams to integrate creative output into structured experimentation frameworks.
• Increase testing velocity while maintaining high-quality learning and insight generation.
• Create audience- and segment-aware creative workflows tailored to different customer groups and campaign objectives.
• Translate AI capabilities into practical operational advantages across multiple brands and teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to remove creative bottlenecks and improve speed-to-market.
Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience in creative production, performance marketing, design systems, or AI-enabled content workflows.
• Proven track record of building end-to-end creative systems rather than isolated experiments or tool usage.
• Strong expertise in generative AI tools for image, video, and copy creation, including prompt design and iteration strategy.
• Ability to produce or direct photoreal, commercially viable creative outputs with high quality standards.
• Experience connecting creative workflows to performance marketing, A/B testing, or experimentation systems.
• Strong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to architect scalable workflows and processes.
• Hands-on builder mentality with the ability to both execute and design scalable infrastructure.
• Strong creative judgment and taste, particularly for consumer-facing visual and written content.
• Ability to work across creative, technical, and growth teams in a highly collaborative environment.
• Experience with automation tools, structured workflows, or API-driven systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with paid social or performance creative optimization is highly desirable.
• Experience in ecommerce, retail, or consumer brands preferred.
