Director, Pricing & Analytics
About this role
Accountabilities:
• Define and lead global pricing strategy aligned with business objectives, market dynamics, and healthcare regulatory environments.
• Develop and implement value-based pricing models that reflect clinical differentiation, reimbursement realities, and competitive positioning.
• Oversee pricing governance, discount structures, and contract optimization across hospitals, IDNs, GPOs, and outpatient channels.
• Lead advanced pricing analytics, including performance tracking, elasticity modeling, profitability analysis, and customer segmentation.
• Translate complex datasets into actionable insights that support revenue growth, margin expansion, and portfolio optimization.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing pricing and analytics team focused on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Market Access, Regulatory, and Product teams to ensure strategic alignment.
• Support new product launches with pricing frameworks, market access strategies, and value communication models.
• Establish pricing governance frameworks ensuring compliance, transparency, and consistency across markets and contracts.
• Monitor healthcare industry trends, reimbursement changes, and competitive activity to continuously refine pricing strategy.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in pricing, analytics, or commercial strategy within medical devices or broader healthcare industries.
• Proven leadership experience managing and scaling high-performing teams in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Strong expertise in pricing methodologies, financial modeling, and advanced analytics tools and platforms.
• Deep understanding of healthcare economics, reimbursement systems, and provider purchasing dynamics.
• Experience working with value-based healthcare models, contracting strategies, and market access considerations.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment in a complex business environment.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical and analytical insights into clear business narratives.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision with short-term execution priorities.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and results-driven leader comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
• Travel requirement of approximately 20%.
