Job Description

Join our team for a unique opportunity to work directly with one of the world's largest technology companies. As a BIM Specialist, you will collaborate with our electrical team to provide Revit modeling support. Your responsibilities include coordination with the BIM managers and electrical design team for maintaining BIM content for data center projects, utilizing professional tools and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. This role will require the ability to multitask and work well with our team and a variety of people.

As a BIM Specialist, you will also provide support to the electrical team during various project milestones and in a variety of ways based on current demand. Specific responsibilities may include coordination with Olsson BIM Managers, creating and assigning view templates, creating sheets, verifying accurate modeling (LOD level), model maintenance, clash detection, standards coordination for schedules, families, and shared parameters, and assisting with addressing quality control comments.

Additional responsibilities may include:

• Maintain the discipline model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output

• Accurately model BIM elements in the correct special constraints of the modeling environment, using the current 3D software

• Maintain the discipline model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, and sheets

• Monitor and maintain client standards and model health. Coordinate the design with other discipline models through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processes

• Be responsible for the discipline model and generate the BIM elements, based on the Level of Development (LOD) outlined in the project scope

• Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience

• A minimum of 4 years related industry experience

• Ability to contribute and work well on a team

• Flexibility and desire to perform various tasks as needs change

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills

• Advanced knowledge in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant software tools

• Proven experience in BIM management and drafting

• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work well within a team

• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work and continuous improvement

• Understanding of engineering or architectural concepts is a plus
