The team manages risk, ensures compliance with regulatory guidance, and supports risk-informed business decision-making across the organization.
The Enterprise TPRM Systems and Data Analytics Manager provides dedicated ownership of SoFi’s enterprise TPRM platforms and supporting tools. This role is responsible for driving platform effectiveness, advancing operational efficiency where feasible, enabling robust risk-based data architecture, and deriving actionable risk intelligence from raw data. The role also ensures that insights are delivered in a timely and reliable manner to decision-makers across the organization, directly supporting SoFi’s mission of helping members “get their money right” through the safe, compliant, and scalable delivery of financial products and services.
What you’ll do:
• Perform day-to-day system administration of the enterprise TPRM system of record and supporting platforms, including configuration, maintenance, user access management, internal support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and refine workflows within TPRM platforms to ensure consistent effectiveness while improving operational efficiency in support of business needs.
• Design, build, and deliver data analytics reports and management dashboards using TPRM platforms in conjunction with Snowflake, Alteryx, and/or Tableau to provide timely, actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain risk-based data architecture across TPRM platforms to maximize data integrity, usability, and insight generation.
• Derive and distribute actionable risk intelligence from platform data to inform risk-based decision-making across the organization.
• Lead process design and optimization initiatives, including the application of AI where appropriate, to enhance TPRM system capabilities and program outcomes.
• Provide ongoing platform support, user training, and process enablement to promote effective adoption and utilization by cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proactively monitor platform performance and data outputs to identify enhancement opportunities and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, insight quality, and overall TPRM program effectiveness, aligned with business needs, industry best practices, and SoFi’s risk appetite.
What you’ll need:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of experience in Third Party Risk Management, Operational Risk, or related risk disciplines within financial services, with familiarity across first and second lines of defense
• Demonstrated experience administering and optimizing TPRM or GRC platforms, including configuration, workflow design, user access management, data integrity, and issue resolution
• Strong experience designing and managing data structures and pipelines that support risk analytics, reporting, and decision-making
• Strong data analytics and visualization skills, with proficiency in SQL and experience with tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with financial services regulatory expectations related to third-party risk (e.g., Interagency Guidance, FFIEC, OCC, FDIC)
• Ability to provide consultative insight and guidance on TPRM processes in alignment with business strategy and risk appetite
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to train and support cross-functional stakeholders
Nice to have:
• Master’s degree in risk management, data analytics, information systems, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP), CRVPM, CRISC, CISA, CISSP, or ServiceNow GRC/TPRM certifications
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow TPRM/GRC, Venminder, or other enterprise TPRM/GRC platforms
• Demonstrated involvement in platform implementations, migrations, or major system upgrades or transformations
• Proficiency in additional analytics or scripting tools (e.g., Python, Power BI, advanced SQL techniques)
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, Agile) applied in a risk or technology environment
• Experience operating in a high-growth fintech or technology-driven financial services organization
