About the opportunity
The Executive Assistant to the Chief Data and Analytics Officer provides high‑level, professional executive support to the Chief Data and Analytics Officer, ensuring the day‑to‑day and operational requirements of the office are managed in an efficient, well‑coordinated and professional manner.
As the first point of contact, the role requires discretion, sound judgement and strong interpersonal capability, with a client‑focused approach to managing enquiries and matters as they arise. The role supports the Chief Data and Analytics Officer to focus on strategic priorities in a complex executive environment through anticipation of needs, effective coordination, and contributing to consistent and established ways of working, including thoughtful use of digital tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
This opportunity will suit an experienced executive assistant who enjoys operating with trust and responsibility and who brings initiative, judgement and an improvement‑focused mindset to executive support.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
• Provide high‑level executive support, ensuring seamless coordination of critical tasks, proactive follow‑up and clear alignment of priorities.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support strategic outcomes and uphold the professional reputation of the University and the team.
• Assess and manage incoming enquiries, determine appropriate actions, exercise sound judgement and escalate issues as required.
• Draft and review correspondence, communications, briefing notes and other documentation, ensuring clarity of message and an understanding of audience.
• Coordinate meetings and prepare materials, ensuring logistical requirements, workflow and information management support effective decision‑making.
About you
• Previous experience supporting senior executives, including diary and meeting coordination, with the ability to exercise initiative, anticipate needs and contribute to effective and consistent ways of working.
• Professional, with strong integrity, discretion, and the confidence and composure to work closely with senior leadership as a trusted partner.
• Strong organisational and operational capability, with advanced Microsoft Office skills and comfort engaging with new tools and technologies to support efficient ways of working.
• Experience working in large, complex organisations, with an understanding of governance, stakeholder management and competing priorities.
• Exceptional time, workload and priority management skills, with the ability to bring structure and clarity while meeting deadlines.
