Requirement

4+ years of relevant experience in People Analytics, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence roles.

Role Purpose

The P&O Data Analytics & Visualization Senior Associate/ Associate is responsible for delivering high‑quality, leadership‑ready Power BI dashboards and workforce insights across the employee lifecycle.
The role focuses primarily on data visualization, insights, and storytelling, supported by strong data modelling and governance practices. Exposure to advanced analytics and predictive modelling is a valued secondary capability to support forward‑looking workforce insights.

Key Responsibilities

People Analytics & Workforce Insights

• Analyse workforce data across the employee lifecycle, including headcount, hiring, attrition, mobility, promotions, compensation, diversity, and workforce costs.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance standardized and advanced P&O KPIs aligned with Sandoz definitions, methodologies, and governance frameworks.

• Deliver descriptive and diagnostic insights through well‑structured dashboards, scorecards, and reports.

• Perform trend analysis, cohort analysis, and scenario‑based insights to support strategic workforce planning and informed decision‑making.

• Partner with P&O Leadership and HR Business Partners to translate business questions into clear analytical views and actionable insights.

• Design and implement predictive and advanced analytical models (e.g., attrition risk, workforce demand, capacity forecasting).

• Translate complex analytical and predictive outputs into clear, actionable insights for business leaders and P&O stakeholders.

Data Modelling & Transformation:

• Build robust and scalable data models using Power BI, Power Query, and DAX, following star‑schema best practices.

• Integrate data from multiple HR systems (e.g., Workday), Excel files, and other structured sources.

• Handle large datasets efficiently, ensuring optimized performance, accurate calculations, and reliable refresh cycles.

• Support data quality checks, reconciliations, and metric consistency across reports.

Visualization & Storytelling:

• Design and develop intuitive, executive‑ready Power BI dashboards aligned to leadership and business needs.

• Convert complex datasets into clear, insight‑led visual narratives.

• Select appropriate chart types, layouts, and interactions to communicate trends, risks, and insights effectively.

• Ensure dashboards are user‑friendly, consistent, and performance‑optimized, enabling quick interpretation and decision‑making.

Core Skills (Must‑Have)

• 4+ years of experience in People Analytics, HR Analytics, or BI/Data Analytics roles.

• Strong hands‑on expertise in Power BI (Desktop & Service) with a clear focus on visualization and insights.

• Advanced working knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M).

• Strong experience in data modelling and dashboard performance optimization.

• Data manipulation and data massaging using SQL, including complex joins, transformations, aggregations, and preparation of large, multi‑source datasets for analytics and reporting.

• Excellent Excel skills (Power Pivot, PivotTables, advanced formulas).

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to advanced analytics or predictive modelling in a workforce or business context.

• Experience working with Workday or similar HR systems.

• Understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance considerations in HR reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a global/matrixed organization.

• Exposure to workforce planning, attrition modelling, or people strategy analytics.

• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and regulated reporting environments.

• Experience supporting senior leadership or executive dashboards.
