Your challenge
As a Service Engineer Analytics, you are the face of ABB for customers across the Benelux region. You ensure that analytical installations continue to operate optimally. From troubleshooting and maintenance to commissioning new installations — you take full ownership.
You will work with a wide range of customers, including bio‑energy plants, incineration facilities, and companies in the chemical and petrochemical industries. Thanks to the diversity of customers and installations, no two days are the same. You are given a high level of freedom in your role and the trust to make independent decisions when working on site.
Your responsibilities:
• Perform inspections and preventive and corrective maintenance on analytical installations.
• Report results in internal systems and measurement reports.
• Provide technical advice and training on operation and maintenance.
• Offer technical support to the sales organization.
• Actively contribute to a modern and service‑oriented service organization.
You will mainly work on customer sites throughout the Benelux (the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg). In addition, you will periodically participate in on‑call duties, providing independent service support outside regular working hours when required.
This is you
• You have an educational background in electrical engineering or chemistry (or equivalent work experience).
• You have experience with, or a strong interest in, analytical instrumentation.
• You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
• You are solution‑oriented and flexible.
• You hold a valid driver’s license (category B) and are willing to travel within the Benelux.
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
