The Finance Knowledge Management Senior Associate is accountable for overseeing the management of Finance’s knowledge platforms, including SharePoint Online, SharePoint Modern, and ServiceNow. These platforms serve as highly visible resources across the entire enterprise. Responsibilities will involve contributing to the revamping of Finance’s intranet using SharePoint Modern, ensuring the accuracy of Finance information in ServiceNow's employee center, streamlining Finance content for internal Finance personnel, monitoring site usage, handling security and permissions requests, and proposing enhancements to improve the overall user experience.

Furthermore, the Finance Knowledge Management Senior Associate will collaborate closely with the Finance Knowledge Management Executive Sponsor and various departments within the Finance organization to gain insights into their respective processes and policies. This collaborative effort will enable clear and accessible methods to effectively communicate Finance information. Additional tasks will encompass troubleshooting technical issues, refining content for better comprehension, and orchestrating and implementing project plans. This position will also offer support for enterprise knowledge management initiatives and activities, ongoing system maintenance, assistance with training, reporting, and facilitating operational adoption.

Responsibilities:

• The purpose of this position is to manage and maintain the appropriate flow of knowledge, the management of various platforms, including various SharePoint sites by ensuring sites are reflective of the needs of the various end-users.  
• Will have overall oversight of the content lifecycle, knowledge of the architecture of the collection and will manage all associated projects, as a Site Collection Business Owner. 
• They will be the main point person to help make critical decisions pertaining to the architecture and/or new features, other system integrations and the implementation. They will be primarily responsible for the overall quality assurance of the site content and develop and oversee processes to maintain relevant and current content.  
• Assist with Knowledge Management Strategy for various business units/functional areas (FA’s) assigned 
• Responsible for the articulation of the overall FA’s knowledge management strategy including sites and tools to support FA’s teams, and sites and tools tied to FA’s support of our various businesses. 
• Collaborate with the various stakeholders for alignment of enterprise priorities. 
• Oversee the overall management of FA’s-specific KM sites, including training and providing direction to the site owners, and periodically seeking feedback from users to accelerate engagement.
• Establish and maintain governance model for FA’s programs. 
• Lead adoption and implementation efforts.  
• Set knowledge management objectives and leverage data analytics to continually improve the user experience. 
• Consult with other lines of business or functional areas on cross-domain system integration. 
• Perform regular maintenance to include (but not limited to): 
• Work with subject matter experts, consistently revisiting and reviewing content to ensure business relevance. 
• Monitor site usage and follow up on dormancy on a monthly basis. Monitor to ensure workflow and tasks are working correctly. 
• Monitor and update term sets and metadata as needed. 
• Maintain permissions. Is the “Super Owner” of the site collection.  
• Is the first line of day-to-day support for users and other Site Owners below top-level site.
• Approves the provisioning of new sites within their given LOB or functional area. 
• Write technical documentation or guidance as needed and train end-users.  
• Identify training gaps and escalate to Enterprise Governance Council. Perform error identification, investigation and resolution – escalate to KM and IT as needed. Is able to work in SharePoint web apps within the Classic and Modern environments.  
• Ability to design and develop basic forms.

Chair an FA’s KM team to ensure strong connectivity and strategy alignment across FA’s, including serving as a coach and connector on enterprise KM topics to communications, site owners and others who should have input into vision, strategy and project prioritization, or have KM needs.

Required Qualifications:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Advanced experience using Microsoft SharePoint Online (M365) classic and modern environments

• Intermediate experience using Microsoft Forms or equivalent

• Understands project lifecycles

• Strong organization and time management skills

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

• Understands basic principles of knowledge management

• Can work in a matrix reporting structure

• Strong attention to detail

• Self-starter

• Ability to think analytically to solve complex problems and issues required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to stay calm under pressure required

• Ability to advocate and articulate KM best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of SharePoint on-prem 2019

• Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPlatform (Apps, Automate and BI)

• Knowledge of MS Teams

• Intermediate experience using M365 / Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and DNS

• Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Cardi Log or equivalent

• Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and DNS

• Knowledge of Smartsheet

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $77,700 - $128,200

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
