Financial Data & Reporting Specialist

Accountabilities:

• Maintain, update, and validate financial and operational datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency

• Perform routine data audits and monitor data quality metrics, identifying and resolving discrepancies

• Support documentation of data sources, workflows, data dictionaries, and ETL processes

• Assist in organizing structured and unstructured datasets for reporting and analysis purposes

• Contribute to financial reporting processes, including monthly reporting packages and KPI distribution to stakeholders

• Support revenue, contract, and production data analysis to assist leadership decision-making

• Help validate outputs from ETL pipelines and assist in testing workflow updates

• Support financial modeling, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis for strategic initiatives

• Collaborate with finance teams during weekly performance reviews and reporting cycles

• Assist in developing dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, and related tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred

• Strong advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas

• Experience with or exposure to Power BI or similar data visualization tools is a plus

• Familiarity with ETL concepts, data workflows, and basic data transformation processes

• Python skills for data analysis or automation are preferred but not required

• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage and interpret large datasets effectively

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain insights to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
