Forward Deployed AI Engineer

Accountabilities:

• Embed directly with clients to understand operational challenges and translate them into technical AI-driven solutions

• Design, architect, and deploy custom AI agents to detect fraud and automate complex compliance workflows

• Build production-ready machine learning and AI systems integrated into client environments

• Apply advanced prompt engineering, model evaluation, and optimization techniques to improve AI performance and reliability

• Define and maintain AI risk metrics, datasets, and evaluation frameworks to measure model impact

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to scale AI solutions into robust production systems

• Act as a technical advisor, demonstrating the value of AI-driven interventions to clients and stakeholders

• Continuously refine and improve deployed models based on performance data and real-world feedback

• Own the full lifecycle of AI solutions from discovery through deployment and iteration

• Champion AI-first approaches across both internal teams and external engagements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Applied AI, or Machine Learning engineering

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing, model development, and system integration

• Experience building, deploying, or scaling AI/ML models in production environments

• Strong understanding of AI agents, LLMs, prompt engineering, or similar modern AI techniques

• Ability to translate ambiguous business or operational problems into technical solutions

• Proven experience working directly with clients or stakeholders in a consulting or embedded role

• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly

• Experience in fraud detection, fintech, or compliance domains is a strong plus
