Role: Senior Full Stack Developer [ Fraud prevention & identity platforms]
Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid – 3 days on-site)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a high-impact team dedicated to securing our digital ecosystem. You will lead the development of critical CCRA ID proofing initiatives and retail integration projects, focusing on fraud prevention, risk mitigation, and seamless customer onboarding. As a senior member of the team, you will design and execute integrated IT solutions that power our customer-facing platforms. Your work will directly impact service quality, performance management, and the investigation of business flow anomalies across onboarding and transaction systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect and build secure, scalable frontend interfaces and backend microservices using React.js and Go (Golang) or Java (Spring Boot).
• Implement complex identity verification workflows and integrate AI-driven fraud detection tools to minimize risk.
• Lead integration efforts for retail platforms (Cornerstone), ensuring seamless connectivity between distributed IT systems and network operations.
• Support data-driven decision-making by developing robust reporting modules and service quality measurement tools.
• Use your technical expertise to investigate and resolve flow anomalies in customer onboarding and provisioning systems.
• Participate actively in all Agile ceremonies within the Agile Release Train (ART), contributing to sprint planning and solution demos.
Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in professional software development, with at least 3 years in a Senior role.
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) or Java (Spring Boot) for high-concurrency microservices.
• Expert-level React.js, TypeScript, and modern state management (Redux/Toolkit).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and cloud environments (AWS/Google Cloud).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, focusing on data integrity and high-speed retrieval for analytics.
• Deep understanding of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and biometric/ID proofing protocols.
• Strong experience working within a SAFe/Agile environment.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on identifying and mitigating fraud risks.
