Role Overview

The Head of Data & Intelligence – HR Digital leads a large, global organization responsible for data operations, workforce analytics, decision intelligence, visualization, data science, employee listening, responsible AI, and enterprise‑level reporting.

This executive sits on the HR Digital Leadership Team and shapes the next frontier of HR by:

• Delivering trusted data products, end‑to‑end workforce insights, and enterprise reporting

• Driving AI enablement, decision intelligence, and data‑powered workflow design

• Establishing the standards, governance, and operating model for HR data

• Translating complex workforce datasets into actionable, predictive insights for leaders across the business

• This leader partners closely with Product Management, Product Delivery, and Technology (JJT), Together, these teams build the integrated ecosystem required for a modern, AI‑enabled HR function.

Key Responsibilities:

Data & Intelligence Strategy

• Set the vision and strategy for HR data, analytics, and decision intelligence aligned to HR2030 and enterprise digital priorities

• Develop a unified data architecture and operating model that improves data trust, interoperability, and real‑time insights

• Advance the maturity of data products—from descriptive dashboards to predictive and prescriptive intelligence

Data Operations & Governance

• Lead global data operations, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and consistency across HR systems and products

• Oversee data governance, stewardship, and quality management with clear standards and accountability across HR

• Define and enforce data policies, guardrails, and controls supporting responsible and compliant data use

Decision Intelligence & Visualization

• Drive the creation of integrated decision products, including dashboards, automated insights, and analytics‑as‑a‑service

• Lead enterprise‑level reporting, including executive scorecards, workforce intelligence reports, and strategic insights for senior leadership

• Partner with Technology to maintain scalable visualization and data‑mart infrastructure

Data Science & Advanced Analytics

• Build and evolve the HR data science capability, delivering predictive models, scenario forecasts, and workforce simulations

• Embed advanced analytics into HR Digital products and workflows to improve prioritization, risk identification, and talent outcomes

• Ensure models meet enterprise standards for accuracy, fairness, explainability, and performance

AI Enablement & Responsible AI

• Lead the implementation of responsible, governed, human‑centered AI across HR Digital solutions

• Establish policies, frameworks, and continuous monitoring to ensure ethical and compliant AI use

• Partner across Product and Technology to accelerate AI adoption across workflows, experiences, and decision processes

Employee Listening & Insights

• Oversee enterprise-wide employee listening strategy, integrating signals across surveys, sentiment analysis, and behavioral data

• Convert listening insights into clear, actionable recommendations for HR and business leaders

Cross‑Functional Partnership

• Collaborate with Product Management to embed data and intelligence into product roadmaps and experiences

• Partner with Product Delivery and Technology teams to ensure seamless integration of data architecture, platforms, and APIs

• Serve as the primary executive integrator across HR, Digital, and JJT for data strategy, platform evolution, and analytics capabilities

People Leadership

• Lead, develop, and inspire a global team across data stewardship, governance, data science, employee listening, reporting, and decision intelligence

• Build future‑ready capabilities in AI literacy, applied analytics, data engineering, and insight storytelling

• Foster a culture of curiosity, responsible innovation, systems thinking, and continuous learning

Data & AI Engineering for Decision Intelligence: Architect and scale trusted data, analytics, and AI foundations that transform HR data into decision‑ready intelligence at enterprise scale.

Product‑Led HR Intelligence: Build and manage HR data, metrics, and models as products with clear outcomes, adoption measures, and reusable value across the enterprise.

HR Technology & Platform Ecosystem Mastery: Design intelligence solutions that are natively embedded in HR platforms and extensible across the broader HR technology ecosystem.

AI‑Ready Data Governance & Responsible AI by Design: Embed privacy, security, quality, and Responsible AI controls by design to enable safe, compliant, and scalable HR analytics and AI.

Decision Products & Experience‑Embedded Insights: Deliver role‑based insights, recommendations, and AI assistance directly into HR workflows to accelerate decisions and improve outcomes.

Future Skills & Workforce Intelligence: Enable skills‑based workforce strategies by delivering scalable intelligence across roles, capabilities, learning, and workforce planning.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of progressive experience in technology, data, analytics, digital transformation, or related fields

• 8+ years of senior leadership experience managing global teams across data, analytics, product, digital or business architecture within HR

• Proven experience building or operating enterprise data platforms, governance models, and analytics ecosystems

• Demonstrated track record embedding data and AI into workflow design, digital products, or enterprise experiences

• Expertise with modern analytics and visualization tools; familiarity with data lakes, data marts, API‑driven architectures, and ML operations

• Experience with people analytics, workforce insights, or HR data domains preferred

• Executive‑level experience influencing senior stakeholders and shaping large‑scale transformation

• Advanced degree (MS, MBA, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field) preferred

• Experience with responsible AI, governance frameworks, or ethical data practices a strong plus
