Junior Data Analyst

The Junior Data Analyst supports Business Intelligence initiatives by maintaining reports, resolving data-related issues, and assisting with ad hoc analysis. This role helps ensure data accuracy and timely reporting while contributing to ongoing improvements in reporting processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working with data in a fast-paced environment. This position also provides exposure to more complex BI projects through hands-on support and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and manage assigned tickets within the Zoho queue, ensuring timely resolution of requests
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues or implement minor enhancements in existing reports
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy prior to stakeholder review
• Generate simple, ad hoc reports based on business needs
• Support ongoing reporting and data maintenance efforts across BI tools
• Shadow senior team members on meetings and complex data projects to build technical skills
• Complete required trainings and maintain knowledge of internal systems and processes
• All other duties assigned by your manager
Long-Term Impact:
• Support the development of scalable and reliable BI processes
• Help improve efficiency by identifying and resolving data or reporting inefficiencies
• Contribute to freeing up senior BI resources to focus on proactive analytics and automation
Qualifications:
Required
• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred
• Experience with SQL
• Experience working with start-ups
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools
• Exposure to Power Automate or Power Apps
Working Conditions:
• Remote work. Standard office environment with occasional travel per business need.
• May involve weekday evening hours to accommodate team member schedules.
• Ability to work during normal business hours in Central or Eastern time zones.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Fine finger coordination required for typing, pressing objects such as utilizing laptop/mouse for communication and documentation purposes.
• Ability to view computer screen monitor.
