The Lead Product Manager manages products for customer use. The Lead Product Manager works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. You will report to the VP, Experience Transformation.
Role Summary
The CenterWell Customer Experience team is looking for a senior individual contributor to lead product strategy for components of the CenterWell AI portfolio. You will guide the development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions that improve patient experiences, clinical effectiveness, and operational performance across CenterWell.
As Lead Product Manager, you will work with the automation portfolio team, data science and IT partners, and segment product and operations leaders to deliver AI capabilities across businesses. You will operate across the full lifecycle, from early-stage experimentation through scaled deployment, balancing innovation velocity with patient safety and regulatory thoughtfulness.
You will have product judgement and technical fluency in AI and ML. We measure success by delivering responsible AI products with clear value and sustained real-world adoption.
Responsibilities
AI Product Strategy & Discovery
• You will oversee the product roadmap for a defined set of AI capabilities within the broader CenterWell AI portfolio.
• You will evaluate AI use cases in consideration of our priorities, clinical outcomes, and operational needs.
• You will translate complex business problems into articulated product requirements, value hypotheses, and success metrics.
• Conduct market and technology research to stay current on AI trends in healthcare and evaluate new tools, platforms, and vendors.
• Collaborate across AI, automation, and generative AI efforts to shape cohesive end-to-end solutions.
Product Delivery & Execution
• You will lead cross-segment AI pilots from concept through validation, deployment, and adoption.
• Define testing and validation approaches that assess both technical performance and real-world utility.
• Maintain a business-aligned AI backlog, prioritizing work based on impact, feasibility, risk, and organizational capacity.
• Partner with data science and IT teams to ensure AI solutions are production-ready and scalable.
• You will guide end-to-end ownership of assigned AI products through launch and sustained performance monitoring.
Trust, Governance & Responsible AI
• You will foster relationships with clinical, operational, and functional partners through transparency, collaboration, and demonstrated outcomes.
• Partner with subject matter experts to ensure AI solutions are grounded in workflows and deliver measurable improvements.
• You will communicate AI capabilities, risks, and appropriate use cases to partners and end-users.
• You will engage with governance, compliance, and validation processes, including considerations related to bias, accuracy, and regulatory constraints in healthcare.
Measurement & Outcomes
• Define clear success metrics and value measures for AI products, including clinical, experience, and financial outcomes.
• Establish tracking and reporting mechanisms to demonstrate progress and return on investment to senior partners.
• Use data and feedback to inform iteration, decommissioning, or scaling decisions.
Use your skills to make an impact
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in product management, AI and ML product development, or related technical roles, with increasing scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Well-developed technical foundation in AI and ML concepts, including model types, training approaches, evaluation metrics, and deployment considerations
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI-powered products from concept through production.
• Experience navigating AI governance, model validation, and regulatory or compliance requirements.
• Product judgement, combining analytical rigor, and user-centered thinking.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience deploying AI solutions within healthcare operations, clinical workflows, or care delivery environments.
• Familiarity with healthcare data ecosystems, including EHR platforms and interoperability standards.
• Experience working with data science teams to shape problem framing, experimentation approaches, and productization of models.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$126,300 - $173,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
