About the role
We are currently seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to join our team on 12-month fixed-term contract basis.
The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning solutions that support system implementations and ongoing business improvement initiatives. The role ensures employees have the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to adopt new systems, processes, and ways of working, and to continuously improve capability as business needs evolve. This role plays a key part in enabling sustainable change and driving performance through effective learning.
Responsibilities
• Partner with enablement and operational teams to translate system and process changes into effective learning solutions
• Collaborate with system owners, process leads, SMEs, and change teams to understand capability requirements
• Design and develop high-quality learning materials, including facilitator and participant guides, E-learning modules and videos, System simulations and walkthroughs, Process documentation, job aids, and quick reference guides
• Translate technical system and process information into engaging, learner-centred content
• Design and deliver blended learning solutions tailored to audience needs and operational context
• Ensure learning materials are accessible, consistent, and up to date
• Facilitate training sessions for system implementations and improvement initiatives
• Design and deliver training through multiple channels, including classroom, virtual, and hybrid environments
• Support train-the-trainer activities and knowledge transfer where applicable
• Adapt facilitation approaches based on learner feedback and engagement levels
About you
• Experience designing and developing learning solutions
• Experience facilitating training in system implementations or business change initiatives, in addition to collaborating with technical and business stakeholders
• Strong instructional design and content development capability
• Experience supporting enterprise systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, workflow or case management systems) and working within transformation, change, or continuous improvement programs
• Experience using learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning tools
• Ability to translate complex system and process concepts into clear learning experiences
• Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in training & development, education, information systems or related discipline
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) or equivalent
