Role Summary
The Manager, Data Products – Therapeutic Area (TA) is responsible for designing, building, and operating high‑quality, user‑centric data products that support analytics, data science, and AI/ML use cases across the Therapeutic Area.
This role focuses on execution and delivery, translating scientific and data science requirements into trusted, reusable, and AI‑ready data products spanning preclinical, translational, clinical, competitive intelligence, and real‑world data (RWD/RWE).
Working closely with TA Data Science teams, scientific stakeholders, and enterprise data platform teams, the Manager ensures that data products are fit‑for‑purpose, standardized, and aligned with enterprise data and governance standards, enabling faster insights and improved decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Data Product Development & Delivery
• Own the end‑to‑end delivery of assigned TA data products, from requirements definition through build, validation, and release.
• Translate scientific, clinical, and analytics use cases into clear functional data product requirements.
• Support execution of the TA data product roadmap, aligned with enterprise data strategy and priorities.
• Apply agile delivery practices and FAIR data principles to ensure data products are reusable, scalable, and interoperable.
• Deliver integration of internal and external data sources, including clinical trial data, omics, imaging, registries, and RWD/RWE datasets.
Data Modeling, Metadata & Semantic Enablement
• Contribute to data modeling, metadata capture, and semantic alignment for TA data products.
• Apply existing TA ontologies and enterprise metadata standards to ensure consistency across data products.
• Support alignment with industry data standards and frameworks (e.g., CDISC, GA4GH, FHIR, NCI Thesaurus) under guidance from senior leaders.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
• Partner with TA Data Science teams, researchers, and clinical stakeholders to ensure data products meet analytics and scientific needs.
• Work closely with Data Engineering, Platform, Governance, and Architecture teams to deliver compliant, high‑quality data products.
• Support regulatory and compliance discussions by ensuring appropriate documentation, data lineage, and quality controls are in place.
Operational Excellence & Governance Support
• Support implementation of data product governance practices, including quality checks, metadata completeness, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor data quality, usage, and basic value metrics for assigned data products.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data product delivery processes and standards across the TA.
Adoption, Communication & Continuous Improvement
• Actively support adoption and reuse of TA data products by Data Science and scientific teams.
• Communicate data product capabilities, limitations, and updates to users and stakeholders.
• Promote data literacy and best practices within the TA community.
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Informatics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
Experience & Skills
• 4–7+ years of experience in pharma/biotech R&D, data engineering, data science enablement, or analytics platforms.
• Hands‑on experience delivering data products, data pipelines, or curated datasets within a scientific or clinical domain.
• Exposure to multi‑modal data, such as clinical trial data, omics, imaging, translational research, or RWD/RWE.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and data integration concepts.
• Familiarity with metadata management and data standards (e.g., CDISC, OMOP, FHIR) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of data governance, quality, lineage, and compliance concepts in regulated environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across scientific, technical, and business teams.
• Demonstrated ability to execute reliably, manage competing priorities, and deliver value in a matrixed organization.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$117,000.00 - $201,250.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
