We translate complex market signals into actionable narratives that power our sales and product marketing efforts across priority regions. Responsibilities
• Architect and lead the end-to-end strategy for Asia research, moving from manual data collection to AI-augmented insights systems that predict market shifts and consumer behaviors.
• Design and oversee high-stakes quantitative and qualitative research programs, including market sizing, brand tracking, customer satisfaction, and advanced pricing/concept testing.
• Build deep, multi-market intelligence of market dynamics and competitive landscapes for priority verticals, ensuring Yahoo Taiwan remains a dominant thought leader.
• Develop annual research roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives based on ROI, business impact, and executive stakeholder needs.
• Review and validate AI-generated research outputs (e.g., predictive segments or automated content analysis), exercising expert judgment to ensure methodological rigor.
• Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and Editorial teams to embed "next-gen" insights into value propositions and executive-level narratives.
• Serve as a primary consumer insights ambassador for Yahoo Taiwan, presenting at key industry events to elevate brand authority.
Qualifications
• 12–15+ years of experience in market research or consumer insights, with a proven track record in digital media, tech, or internet services.
• Exceptional ability to architect strategic narratives, transforming multi-source data into compelling executive stories that drive high-stakes decisions.
• Mastery of research methodologies (survey design, sampling, segmentation, and brand/campaign measurement).
• Demonstrated experience scaling research programs across multiple markets with a focus on cost-efficiency and speed.
• Experience evaluating and refining AI-augmented workflows, specifically in the areas of automated text mining, predictive modeling, and content analysis.
• A growth mindset with a commitment to staying current on emerging AI tools and proactively suggesting improvements to legacy research processes.
• BA or BS degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred).
