TEAM OVERVIEW

KKR has an established enterprise Data Operations organization focused on collecting, managing, and harnessing the power of data across its diverse business activities. The Data Operations Centre of Excellence (CoE) is a cross-functional team responsible for driving and evolving KKR’s enterprise data management strategy, while providing the operational leverage needed to effectively implement these frameworks.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Data Governance & Quality professional who will support the integrity, consistency, and reliability of data across KKR’s data ecosystem. This role partners closely with business and technology teams to implement data governance frameworks, data quality controls, and enabling tools such as Collibra, including associated workflows and integrations.

The individual will monitor data quality, perform root cause analysis, and deliver reporting and dashboards to drive data transparency and compliance. The role will also contribute to defining data standards, strengthening governance practices, and supporting ongoing data-related initiatives.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Excellence

•    Partner with IT to develop, test, and enhance data tools/applications to ensure accurate, complete, and timely data
•     Ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of data across KKR’s data ecosystem through ongoing monitoring and controls
•    Implement and manage data quality frameworks and rules using tools such as Collibra DQ, including validation, profiling, and continuous monitoring
•    Design and manage Collibra workflows to support governance processes, including data stewardship, issue resolution, and approvals
•    Support Collibra integrations (including EDGE) for automated metadata ingestion, lineage capture, and system connectivity
•    Define, enforce, and operationalize data standards, policies, and stewardship practices across business units
•    Perform root cause analysis of data quality issues and drive remediation, including preventive controls and process improvements
•    Develop and deliver data quality dashboards, KPIs, and reporting to track data health, governance compliance, and improvement initiatives
•    Establish and maintain data lineage, metadata management, and data cataloguing to enhance transparency and trust in data assets
•    Proactively identify data risks, gaps, and anomalies, and implement controls to mitigate data quality issues
•    Execute and manage ad hoc data governance and quality initiatives within defined timelines

Stakeholder Management

•    Collaborate with engineering and IT to support and make recommendations for enhanced digital reporting capabilities and automated data reconciliation
•    Communicate and work closely with relevant teams to close data gaps in a clear and timely manner 
•    Serve as point of contact for data-related questions and updates from various internal and external groups, delivering ad-hoc analytics to answer key business questions in a timely manner

Reporting & Governance

•    Design and document standard operating procedures for data management
•    Implement and own best-in-class data governance practices, ensuring that data is well-defined and transparently documented
•    Develop and deliver governance and data quality dashboards/KPIs to monitor compliance, track data health, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership

QUALIFICATIONS

•    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
•    7-10 years of data operation experience in financial services
•    Experience in a multinational Financial Services organization and/or Private Equity preferred
•    Ability to manage standard reports, templates & dashboards 
•    Ability to validate and review data 
•    Ability to adhere to the compliance requirements of processes
•    Ability to develop and enhance data protection and management tools or applications
•    Ability to design and execute data management processes
•    Systems/ Tools/ Application knowledge:

-    Experience with process design and process enhancement 
-    Proficiency in data operations and data management 
-    Advanced proficiency in Excel
-    Experience with data/data science (SQL, python, power BI, tableau)
-    Experience using tool like Collibra is a must
