Job Description

The Department of Art, Art History & Design at the University of North Florida (UNF) is seeking mature, reliable applicants who are not currently enrolled UNF students to serve as figure models for studio art classes.
Models will pose nude (not clothed/dressed) for classes consisting of approximately 18 students and one professor in a supervised studio environment.

Job Functions (Essential Duties)
• Ability to hold poses for 15–20 minutes at a time with minimal movement
• Perform poses that may include standing, seated, reclining, twisting, or other positions as requested by the instructor
• Comfortably pose nude in a professional academic setting
• Communicate with the professor if a pose becomes uncomfortable or difficult to maintain
• Make minor adjustments (e.g., shifting weight) or suggest a similar sustainable pose when necessary
Important Information
• This position is for nude figure modeling only
• This is not a clothed model position
Appointment Term
This position is temporary and is scheduled to end on December 11, 2026.
The Department reserves the right to discontinue modeling assignments at any time based on class needs, scheduling changes, or performance considerations.

This position requires a background check. In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check.
The holder of this position is designated as a “Responsible Employee” pursuant to their role under Title IX.
