You will work in an international team spanning Europe and the US, operating a multi-cloud environment across AWS and GCP. Our team is responsible for securing production systems, ensuring operational stability, building a self-service platform for developers, and advising other engineering teams. We support a broad technology landscape, from infrastructure running on EC2 and managed cloud services and databases in AWS and GCP, to containers on ECS and cloud-native deployment workflows on Kubernetes with ArgoCD.

Minimum requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach complex technical challenges in a structured and pragmatic way

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to address concerns, advocate for your opinion and find compromises where needed

• Strong experience with at least one public cloud provider, ideally AWS or GCP, including core services such as compute, networking, IAM, and managed databases

• Experience running containerized applications at scale on GKE, EKS, or ECS

• Strong written and spoken English skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing deployment workflows, ideally with cloud-native tools such as ArgoCD, FluxCD, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform/Terragrunt, ideally alongside CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK in more complex environments

• Experience with observability tooling for distributed systems across metrics, logs, and tracing

• Experience and interest in troubleshooting and resolving of complex incidents

• Ability to contribute to cross-functional projects involving both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Interest in AI supported software development

• Proficiency in a modern programming language, ideally Go or Node.js

What you’ll do

• Continuously improve and modernize our infrastructure across AWS and GCP

• Design, implement, and evolve CI/CD pipelines that support fast, reliable developer workflows

• Actively engage with peers to build, deploy, and operate scalable systems

• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code, including tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation

• Define and implement observability standards across logs, metrics, tracing, and alerting

• Drive security, compliance, and engineering best practices across our platforms

• Collaborate closely within an international team across multiple timezones

• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 production reliability
