Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
This position focuses on conducting research in swine nutrition and physiology. Responsibilities include collecting, managing, and curating research data at swine facilities and performing laboratory analyses related to gene and protein expression, intestinal physiology, and proximate analysis of feed, tissue, and fecal samples. The role also supports data interpretation, preparation of research reports, and the drafting of manuscripts for submission to peer‑reviewed scientific journals.
Required Minimum Qualifications
• PhD degree
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience conducting swine (pig) nutrition and physiology research
• Demonstrated ability to perform gene and protein expression analyses
• Experience with intestinal physiology and nutritional research methodologies
• Record of authorship or contribution to peer‑reviewed scientific publications
