The Principal Analyst - CGT Process Automation & AI will play a key role within the Commercial CGT DTE (Data, Technology & Engineering) team, leading efforts to document, assess, manage and implement business automations across the organization. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders to understand current ways of working, identify opportunities for standardization and efficiency, and lead the design and implementation of sustainable process improvements.
This role will evaluate or support opportunities that involve AI, automation, or other digital tools, with a focus on process clarity, documentation, governance, project management, and change adoption. The ideal candidate will bring strong business process expertise, the ability to organize and translate complex workflows into clear documentation, and experience leading cross-functional initiatives that improve operational effectiveness. The candidate is expected to implement agentic solutions on their own and also partner with other DTE team members that deliver solutions when appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead projects related to process improvements and AI implementations for the Commercial CGT DTE organization including but not limited to: User Onboarding / Activation; Change Management; ITSM (ServiceNow); SDLC; Agentic solutions
• Hands-on delivery of agentic solutions
• Lead the documentation, analysis, and management of ways of working across the Commercial CGT DTE organization
• Partner with stakeholders across the broad DTE landscape to understand current-state workflows, identify process gaps, and define future-state improvements
• Develop and maintain clear, accurate, and user-friendly process documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures, business rules, work instructions, and related materials
• Establish and promote standards for process documentation, version control, and ongoing process governance
• Assess improvement opportunities that may include workflow redesign, standardization, or automation with a focus on applying AI tools
• Coordinate across business, technology, and operational teams to ensure alignment on process changes, dependencies, and impacts
• Drive stakeholder engagement and change management activities to support adoption of updated processes and tools
• Monitor process effectiveness and recommend enhancements based on business feedback, operational needs, and evolving priorities
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in process documentation, process improvement, business analysis, project management, operations, or digital transformation
• Demonstrated experience documenting complex business processes and translating them into clear, actionable materials
• Strong experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and operational workstreams
• Proven ability to assess current-state processes and recommend practical, scalable improvements
• Experience managing projects or workstreams from planning through implementation and adoption
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and documentation quality
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders, build alignment, and manage change in a matrixed environment
Technical Skills Required
• Deep understanding of process documentation, workflow analysis, and business process management
• Experience building agentic AI solutions; Salesforce Agentforce knowledge is a plus

• Business requirements
• Governance documentation
• Training and communication materials
• Strong proficiency with documentation and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, and SharePoint
• Experience using process mapping or workflow tools to document and visualize business operations
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, or Microsoft Project
• Ability to support process improvement initiatives that may include automation, reporting, AI-enabled tools, or digital workflow solutions where appropriate
• Experience using data and operational insights to identify inefficiencies and support process decisions
Preferred Skills
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences industry
• Familiarity with commercial operations and/or cell and gene therapy (CGT) business processes
• Experience supporting operational excellence, business transformation, or process governance initiatives
• Exposure to automation or AI-enabled process improvement tools
• Knowledge of change management principles and stakeholder adoption strategies
• Experience in matrixed, fast-paced business environments
• Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI
• Ability to balance strategic process thinking with hands-on execution
• Salesforce Agentforce is a plus
Pay Range:
$142,800 - $214,200
Disclosure Statement:
The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
