Quantitative Developer/Financial Modeling Specialist (AAP Program)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled professional to support and enhance our AAP modeling platform that is used for EPA (Externally Projected Asset). This role sits at the intersection of financial modeling, software development, and process optimization, and will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of asset projection capabilities across multiple rate scenarios.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Maintain, enhance, and optimize the AAP modeling platform, which projects cash flows, market value, and book value across various interest rate scenarios
• Develop and implement improvements to model performance, accuracy, and scalability
• Automate and streamline end-to-end processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention in model runs
• Partner with stakeholders across finance, risk, and technology to support model usage and address inquiries
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including methodologies, assumptions, controls, and process flows
• Support governance and control frameworks, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory expectations
• Participate in regular meetings to communicate updates, resolve issues, and align on enhancements
Qualifications & Experience
• 3+ years of professional experience in C# development, with strong programming fundamentals
• Solid experience working with SQL and relational databases
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts, particularly related to asset valuation and cash flow modeling
• Experience working with financial models, risk systems, or asset projection frameworks preferred
• Demonstrated ability to automate processes and improve operational efficiency
• Advanced degree in a STEM field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred)
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with interest rate modeling or scenario analysis
• Familiarity with financial instruments and balance sheet modeling
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Pay Range
$175,000 - $200,000Apollo Global Management, Inc. (together with its subsidiaries and affiliates) is committed to championing opportunity.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
