Duties/Responsibilities

• Pursues postdoctoral training in specific research topics with supervision from SRC senior scientist or director.

• Plans, coordinates, and executes assigned research projects.

• Performs cellular and molecular biology experiments.

• Records and archives research data according to prescribed procedures.

• Discusses results and next steps with supervisor. Presents results in regular laboratory meetings.

• Stays abreast of current, relevant literature.

• Drafts manuscripts and presents results in appropriate scientific meetings.

• May be required to perform other reasonably related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or other management.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Phd or MD required
