The Biomedical Engineering (BME) Department at Carnegie Mellon University is renowned for its interdisciplinary approach to solving complex healthcare challenges. The Biomedical Engineering (BME) Department at Carnegie Mellon University is looking for a Research Associate to Assists in the development and execution of research projects including experiment design, analysis of data collected and writing up experiment results.
Core Responsibilities:
• Identify problems and obstacles to progress; develop strategies to solve problems.
• Program software in support of job functions. Attends project meetings.
• Perform research experiments following experimental protocol and procedures. Research and documents information by compiling and maintaining accurate and detailed records.
• Summarize statistical information for analysis, examination or presentation; write technical reports. May build and validate quantitative models.
• Use a variety of software packages to input, manipulate, collect and record results or observations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support study needs and animal welfare.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-3 Years of experience in Research Lab and Research Methodology
• A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
